I don't know if I have bad luck or my colour pencils just hate me or if my pencil sharpener is possed by a really bored demon. all I know is everytime I try to sharpen a pencil I split it. Ive split like 4 pencils already, its really annoying and im running out of colours. has this ever happened to you?

Try sharpening the blade. Other than that be careful how you hold the sharpener and get a new one.
